Working with Accelerate the Senior Management team created a strategy for improvement that resulted in site-wide activity with projects looking at; process flow changes; Returns measurement; Stock recording accuracy; edge banding machine efficiencies; sales office customer service training; credit note analysis; Introduction of standard procedures incorporating TPM and 5S within the machine shop. During 2006 this resulted in measured benefits of over £100k. Hill's now believe they can achieve £100,000s of on-going improvement on an annual basis
