Six Sigma Training Courses

Six Sigma was introduced to the business world in the late 1980’s when Bill Smith an Engineer with Motorola in Arizona, USA recognised the statistical link between product complexity, process capability and process failure. Another Motorola Engineer, Dr Mikel Harry went on to develop the Six Sigma concept to make it into the global product that it is today.

At Accelerate we are aware of the mindfield of complexity that comes with introducing such initiatives to your business, especially for smaller businesses. That is why we have developed our Six Sigma training programmes to be pragmatic in dealing with real business situations whilst remaining inspirational in engaging your workforce to enjoy working with statistical information.

Our Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt Six Sigma training courses are not only at the leading edge of business improvement, they offer excellent value for money in being priced to meet the budget of smaller businesses.

Using data to measure we need to find out what we don’t know.

  • If we don’t have data we don’t know.
  • If we don’t know we can’t take action.
  • If we don’t take action the risk is high.
  • If we do know and take action, the risk is managed.
  • If we do know and don’t act, then we deserve to lose

Using Six Sigma we get the data through measurement.
We then transform the data into meaningful information.
We use this information to take action and avoid the loss.
